Las Vegas, NV — In one of the most anticipated cross-Atlantic clashes in recent boxing history, undefeated WBC welterweight champion Ryan Garcia will make his first title defense against British powerhouse Conor Benn on Saturday, September 12, at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
The bout, set during Mexican Independence Day weekend, pits Garcia’s explosive speed and power against Benn’s relentless pressure and knockout pedigree. Garcia, who captured the WBC welterweight crown earlier this year, called the matchup deeply personal, while Benn has long sought high-profile opportunities to prove himself on the world stage.
Dana White made the official announcement, with the event co-promoted by Zuffa Boxing and Golden Boy Promotions. The fight will stream live globally on Paramount+ and exclusively on DAZN in the UK and Ireland.
